Mission Statement
Our mission as the Steel City Chapter is to bring enthusiasts from the greater Pittsburgh region who are dedicated to the preservation and celebration of those vehicles produced by Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and the Dodge Division of the Chrysler Corporation from the mid-80's to the mid-90's.
As enthusiasts from the greater Pittsburgh region brought together by a 'Chapter' title, we join fellow Shelby Dodge enthusiasts, nationwide, under the representation of the SDAC. Thus, we have established a sense of identity within the rapidly growing Turbo Mopar/Shelby Dodge community.
By coming together as an organized group and being acknowledged as a chapter of the National SDAC organization, members of our chapter:
- spread the awareness of Carroll Shelby's impact on the Chrysler Corporation from the early '80s thru the early '90s.
- celebrate and preserve the history of the Dodge vehicles Carroll Shelby inspired and produced during this time.
- meet and introduce fellow enthusiasts to the Shelby Dodge community and Shelby Dodge Automobile Club if they are unfamiliar with either.
- share and obtain knowledge, friendships, and appreciation for this hobby with others within The Steel City Chapter and National Club.
