Greetings fellow Turbo Mopar enthusiasts and welcome to the Steel City Chapter's online home. Within our website, you will discover everything that makes the Steel City Chapter unique. We bleed Black, Gold, and Shelby Blue.
We are a regional chapter of the National Shelby Dodge Automobile Club serving enthusiasts from the greater Pittsburgh region who celebrate those vehicles produced by Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and the Dodge Division of the Chrysler Corporation from the mid-80's to the mid-90's. We invite any Turbo Mopar enthusiast who is interested in these vehicles to join us!
Since the SWPA-SDAC was established in 2005, we have quickly made a presence on the the Shelby Dodge Automobile Club scene. A handful of us attended SDAC-15 to represent our chapter, which we feel brought the efforts of our members full-circle as we took part in the SDAC's most proclaimed yearly event. We continue to meet every month during show season and every other month come winter time. We make yearly appearances at SDAC, Carlisle, Chrysler Nationals at PRP, and the MOPAR Nationals. Other local shows & events, including Caste Village, MOPARs in the Park, Cruisin' at Irwin, Albion's Mopar Show, Streetlight Drags, Cedarcreek's Summer Classic, and Test 'N Tunes @ PRP, are others that we make appearances at as well. We take advantage of as many event-type opportunities as possible, and we do urge our members to provide us with other suggestions in order to compensate everyone's wants and expectations.
The SWPA-SDAC Rides @ SDAC-18, June 20-25, 2008. 
The photograph above was taken at SDAC-18 during the car show which was held at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Dan Franzetta's Omni took 1st place in the 4 door L-body class and Billy Lofink's Turismo took 2nd place in the 2 door L-body class. Congratulations to both of them on their achievement.
Along for the trip also were Billy Lofink's girlfriend Alison and members Brandon Hill, Rob Auther, Ron Brumberg, Dan Franzetta and girlfriend Emily, and Jim Logreco.
Friends/Members of the Steel City Chapter Den Viola, Troy Weishaar, Greg Kristofik, Greg Thewes, Jay Jordan and Minnesota Steve also attended. Some of whom are pictured in the next image in order.
It was a great time overall! Cincinatti, OH is the location for SDAC-19, so let's get another great turnout from our chapter at next year's event! You won't want to miss it!
